Theory of
Constraints Working Session
Each Theory of Constraints
(TOC) Working Session will meet at least three important goals: 1) to
confirm the greatest persistent (and perhaps hidden) constraints that
stand in the way of achieving your firm's sales and marketing goals; 2)
to uncover workable solutions for relieving those constraints; 3) to
develop concrete plans for implementing those solutions.
TOC is a flexible and rapid tool for uncovering and relieving an
organization’s major constraints to growth and improving customer
satisfaction. We have optimized TOC, which originally achieved
breakthroughs in the field of logistics, to work in the world of sales,
marketing, and general business leadership. The four day TOC Working
Sessions teach project teams how to apply the five-step Theory of
Constraints methodology to create solutions to sales and marketing
problems. In the TOC Working Sessions, participants learn and then apply
all five steps of the TOC methodology to systematically uncover and
develop implementation plans for workable solutions.
Agenda:
Day One – Orientation to TOC. Confirming and Surfacing Major
"Undesirable Effects" (UDEs).
Day Two – Linking UDE’s in the Current
Reality Chain of Cause & Effect.
Day Three – Surfacing Sources of
Inertia and Solutions. Simulating Solutions.
Day Four – Anticipating and
Resolving Implementation Obstacles. Developing Implementation Plans for
the Solution.
